Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Whisk, the email client at whisk.email and its iOS app, made by Ashot Petrosian ("we"). By using Whisk you agree to them.

The service

Whisk is a client for your existing Gmail account. It does not provide email addresses or mail hosting; your mail stays in Gmail, and Google's own terms continue to apply to it. Whisk acts on your Gmail only when you tell it to, within the permissions you grant at sign-in.

Your account

You connect Whisk to Google accounts you are authorized to use. You are responsible for keeping your devices and Google credentials secure and for everything sent from your account through Whisk. You can disconnect Whisk at any time from myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Acceptable use

Do not use Whisk to send spam, unlawful, or abusive mail, to violate Google's terms, or to interfere with the service or other users. We may suspend access that does.

Privacy

How Whisk handles your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.

Availability and changes

Whisk is under active development. We may change, add, or remove features, and we may pause or discontinue the service. We will give reasonable notice of anything that affects your access to your data.

Disclaimer and liability

Whisk is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Email is important, so use Whisk with the same care you would use any client: actions such as archiving, labeling, or sending are carried out against your real mailbox. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for loss of data or mail arising from your use of Whisk. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us for Whisk in the twelve months before the claim, which today is zero.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States.
